Your dancers won’t be the only ones leaving with new knowledge and skills! While your dancers are learning new moves we offer the ultimate business seminar for dance teachers! You’ll learn valuable tips and tricks to help you with the daily challenges of studio life and leave with all the tools you need to be successful.  

Class Descriptions

Marketing & Social Media (Saturday afternoon) –  With food, fun, and friends, you’ll learn everything you want to know about marketing and social media, all while connecting with others in the industry! The internet has completely changed the way that we communicate with friends, family, and businesses. Your dancers and even dance moms are more than likely on social media, so if your studio isn’t, you’re missing out! In just over an hour (don’t worry, snacks will be provided!), Angel Roberts will help you to learn how to build a brand and online consumer experience. You’ll learn to define your strategy and create a social media plan that will work for you. She’ll also give you tips to make extra money at your studio!

Everything Hip Hop
Hip hop dancing is on the rise and a highly sought after genre. Offering a hip hop class is an amazing way to bring new students, especially male students, to your studio! In this one-hour class, you’ll learn the in’s and out’s of hip hop from the Queen of Hip Hop herself, Dena Rizzo! From music to choreography, from old school to new school, you’ll leave this class with the best tips on hosting your most successful hip hop program ever.

Costume Class
Taught by Emmy Award winning costume designer, Angel Roberts, this 30-minute class will teach you many new sources and creative ideas for all your costuming needs.

Choreography Videos

Every registered teacher will receive an email with a link to videos of our fabulous faculty performing the choreography they taught at convention. They’re an amazing teaching tool so be sure you don’t miss out!

• All teachers registered for the business seminar will receive a list of fun & fabulous songs for pre-school age dancers!

  Major Teacher Perk:

• Every teacher bringing at least 15 dancers to our convention will receive a free hotel room – one free room night for every 15 paid students (based on our advertised room rates at our host hotel). So, if you register 30 dancers, we’ll reimburse you the cost of 2 nights at our host hotel (no matter where you stay!) You are responsible for booking your own hotel room. You’ll automatically be sent a reimbursement check the week before the convention based on your registration numbers.
